I am me,
Where no one else can see,
Where no one else can comprehend,
What it’s like to be like me.
I am only me,
When I thought was right,
And yet was wrong,
When I tried so hard,
And yet I fail.
I am being me,
When I keep in silence,
Bearing the sorrow,
When I laugh out loud,
To disguise my woe.
I am still me,
Though I fall apart,
Or thorn into pieces,
I am just like me,
And no one can change the fact,
That I only can be me.
